A few of our sights in Montenegro and Croatia. It's obvious there are just too many wonderful photo opportunities throughout the region, inclusive of our travels around Trogir, Split, Kastel, Dubrovnik, Hvar, Stari Grad, Korcula, Primosten, Sibenik, Skradin, Porec, Motovun, Pula, Opatija, Rovinj, Kotor, Risen and Perast. Wonderful people, great culture, and scenery far beyond expectations.

Krka and Plitvice Lakes National Parks
The 100 waterfalls and deep gorges are the spectacular attractions at both these cherished National Parks, and within a two-hour drive of each other. In 1970, Plitvice Lakes National Park was added to the Unesco World Heritage list for its outstanding series of tufa lakes, caves and connecting waterfalls. The falls at Krka National Park mark the location of the world's second oldest hydro-electric plant, which began operating in 1895. An interesting fact, Nikola Tesla was born nearby in the town of Smiljan in 1856.
Night strolls in Croatia
My random collection of night photos while wondering through Croatia. This set includes photos from Dubrovnik (within the walled city), Split (within Diocletian's Palace), Hvar (in the Dalmation Islands) and Sibenik (which would be my choice as a favorite town to go back and stay for a few months!).
